Tumbled Sodalite

Sodalite is widely used as an ornamental gemstone because of its rich, royal blue color. Many specimens are fluorescent in ultraviolet light. Sodalite is a light and fragile mineral which gets its name from its high sodium content. Sodalite crystals can be found many places, including in lava that has erupted from Mt. Vesuvius.
