Argentinosaurus is an herbivorous dinosaur from the Upper Cretaceous period. Its name means Argentina Lizard, giving a nod to the place where bones were first discovered.

Argentinosaurus is widely considered one of the largest known land animals of all time, with length estimates ranging from 98 to 130 ft and weight estimates 110,000 to 220,000 pounds.
