In 1973, Steve Herrell “started a revolution” (The Washington Post); he’s the entrepreneur who originated the ice cream mix-in, reignited our love for a creamier, home-style ice cream, and first created flavors such as Cookies ‘n’ Cream and Heath Bar Crunch. He operated busy ice cream parlors for 37 years, and here tells his own story in a personal, friendly style, full of humor and warmth.
