Tumbled Hieroglyphic Stone

Indian Script Stone, Cobra Jasper and Elephant Skin Jasper are just a few of the many names for this stone. It’s formed when an organic material (such as grass, coral or shells) gets covered in a silica rich red clay. Over time, jasper replaces the natural material and you are left with an intricate design of laced jasper that reminds many of calligraphy or hieroglyphics.
