Rough Amazonite

Amazonite is the name given to the only type of microcline with a green color. Microcline is a variety of feldspar, which constitutes one of the most abundant groups of minerals. It is brittle and has a glassy luster. Colorful amazonite is valued for ornamental jewelry. It is also quarried for ceramics and ceramic glazes.
